Zimbabwean Progressive Death Metal wizard, Nuclear Winter, is back with another smashing Melodic Death offering. The Glimmering Landscape acts as the first single to be taken from his much anticipated forth album, called "Seagrave". Opting for a more symphonic spin on his sound, The Glimmering Landscape is a bombastic, dense, almost hypnotic Death Metal offering, that spellbounds like no other release from him to date. A captivating slice of Melodic Death Metal that still maintains all those Progressive elements listeners have grown to love from the Nuclear Winter sound.

For the listener who listens in the snow,
and nothing beholds into the nothing that is,
and out of the central mind, I blink no glittering eye.
I tread through the frozen night.

Now fades the glimmering landscape on the sight.
Where only the ravens in their high, cold and broken sky,

Over the sea I felt the wind strike chill and cold.
Vapours rise from the red brown mould
and they come unencumbered.
Farewell my adoptive land that nurtured me.
Till on the haunting flare, I turned to the northern sea.

When I remember all I've seen around me fall,
dark as the roses thorn.
A shape of ice that flies in the night,
this is the shells iridescence.

Through time all has been made weightless as the rising embers.
I blink no glittering eye; I tread through the frozen night.
